Indian broadcasters have joined hands to denounce the arm-twisting tactics of foreign broadcasters which are keen on deferring conditional access system (CAS) in the country, and have suggested a rollout plan for the implementation for the same.
In a meeting held today, Indian broadcasters comprising of G Krishnan (Aaj Tak), Markand Adhikari (SABe TV) and Sumit Roy (Sahara TV) and I Venkat (Eenadu TV) decried the delay in the implementation of CAS in the country on various pretexts, including a rollout plan.
