BS Limited bags orders worth Rs 117 crore

BS Limited (formerly known as BS TransComm Limited), a Hyderabad-based telecom and power infrastructure provider, has bagged orders worth Rs 117 crore for the supply of 765/400 Kv transmission line towers for powergrid and state power utilities.

Rajesh Agarwal, chairman and managing director, BS Limited, said, “We have gained traction in the tower supply business owing to the added capacity of 120,000 million tonne per annum (MTPA). We foresee a strong outlook and long term business visibility as an integrated solutions provider."

The company has been augmenting its core business in power transmission and distribution and passive telecom infrastructure. Its two tower manufacturing facilities, located near Hyderabad, has an annual installed capacity of 240,000 MTPA.

The company's scrip is currently trading at Rs 193.50 on Bombay Stock Exchange, down 5.59 per cent over the previous close of Rs 204.95.
