Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund today launched Birla Sun Life Short Term FMP-Series CU, a close-ended income scheme.
It will invest in fixed income securities maturing on or before the duration of the scheme, that is, 369 days from the date of allotment. The issue opened on March 8, 2011 and will close on March 16.
The minimum investment amount required is Rs 5,000. The benchmark index of the scheme is CRISIL Short term Bond Fund Index.
