BSNL, COAI file caveats in SC on Walky issue

 TDSAT had dismissed Tata Teleservices' petition last week against the government classifying its fixed wireless phone service Walky as limited mobile making the private operator liable to pay around Rs 300 crore to BSNL as access deficit charge (ADC) with retrospect effect.

 COAI's caveat in the apex court also says that Walky was nothing but a mobile phone, and the operator should pay ADC like other mobile service providers.
