Even as a price war in the international long distance (ILD) sector is imminent, the key player in the battle remains Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) with its 35 million subscribers.
Since neither VSNL, Bharti or Data Access have their own subscriber base to talk of, it will depend on how BSNL chooses to route ILD calls from its subscribers.
