Buddhadeb to Mamata: Call off fast, talk to me

 School children from Singur, where Tata Motors is planning to set up a car plant, today protested at the site where Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee is staging a hunger strike against the project.

Holding placards and shouting slogans like "Return our land at Singur", 58 chidren joined the protest in the heart of the city.

The children, whose fathers lost their land at Singur when it was acquired for the Tata Motors' small car project, also shouted slogans like "Our fathers seek justice". They held aloft placards that read "Take Singur from the Tatas".
