Bangalore-based Radiant Info Systems, which runs an online ticketing system for all the major state-run road transport corporations and private travel agencies through its portal Busindia.com, has signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to offer its services, according to its chairman and chief executive officer Venu Myneni.

“The idea is to bring all the bus ticket inventory of RTCs in India under one roof. While our services in Andhra Pradesh will be launched by the end of this week, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh will be added in a couple of weeks from then,” he said.

Founded in 1997 with focus on developing software for the Indian market and executing projects in egovernance, smartcards and transport and logistics, Radiant Info launched the country's first online bus reservation system for the KSRTC in Karnataka in 2005.

Under an exclusive agreement with the central government, the company offers Busindia services to over 15 state-run RTCs, including for Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Meghalaya, Gujarat and Goa.
