Computer-aided design (CAD) technology training company Caad Centre Training Services plans to widen its base in the north, east and western regions by opening over 100 centres in the next two years. At present it has 80 centres across the country. |
The company, which has three international centres in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, is planning to expand its global operations to Gulf and European countries in the near future. |

The company is also eyeing tie-ups with corporate houses across the country to provide training at their door steps. The company hopes to double its turnover with these plans. |

"Caad Centre, with its unique franchisee model, is planning to partner with quality entrepreneurs who have the drive to succeed, with an investment capacity of Rs 8-15 lakh depending upon the location. Gujarat is an important market for us and apart from having our three centres in the state, we plan to open centres in Vadodara, Surat, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar, Anand, Bhavnagar, and Porbandhar among others by the end of the current financial year," said R Parthasarathy, executive director, Caad Centre. |

The centre plans to scale up its operations considerably as its optimism stems from the potential it has seen in the country by relying on CAD technology solutions for applications in different industrial sectors such as manufacturing. |

The company also plans to scale up its services in providing innovative products that help engineering and software experts leverage latest commercial technologies for engineering designs. |

The centre had reported a turnover of around Rs 25 crore in the last financial year and plans to post a turnover of over Rs 50 crore by the end of the current financial year. |

"The rapid growth of infrastructure and industrial activities throughout India is creating a large demand for skilled engineers and draft persons. A Caad Centre course will be a huge benefit to working professionals and students. The centre has trained over 2, 50,000 professionals, who are now employed in key positions in large and small companies in more than 40 countries across the world. |

"Many engineering collages are well established in this region and many are coming up. Engineering students studying in this region would get world class CAD training closer to their collages. Companies and corporates houses in Gujarat can now get world class training at their door step," said N Subramanian, national manager, customer care and operations, Caad Centre. |

The centre's in-house curriculum and product development team develops the course curriculum in consultation with companies which need these training. |

The centre's books on CAD are read in over 25 English speaking countries across the world. |
