Art and stationery materials maker Camlin recorded a 87.71 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 8.01 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2009 as against Rs 4.27 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Net Sales grew 23.60 per cent to Rs 105.8 crore Rs 85.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Earnings Per Share for the quarter ended June’09 reached at Rs. 1.34 As against Rs. 0.71 For the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Dilip Dandekar, chairman and managing director said the firm was able to achieve good growth by focussing on high-margin products.
