Can Fin Homes, a Canara Bank sponsored housing loan subsidiary, has reported a 22.2 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 10.2 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009 compared to the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Its operating profit for the quarter went up by 16 per cent to Rs 14 crore compared to the year ago period.
The total income for the September quarter, however declined by 7.8 per cent to Rs 53 crore compared to the same quarter last year. The earnings per share went up by 22 per cent to Rs 5 during the quarter.
