Caritor to implement SAP for Adani Wilmar

The Ahmedabad-based Adani Wilmar Ltd, part of the Rs 11,000 crore Adani Group, has given a contract to the California-based Caritor for implementing SAP in their organisation.
 
Caritor will provide an integrated information backbone across all their processes covering material logistics, manufacturing, planning and execution, finance and customer facing processes in the first phase, and business information warehouse and customer relationship management in the second phase.
 
The project is expected to be completed in the next eight months, a release said.
 
"SAP implementation with Caritor would help us enhance our customer focus and be significantly add value to the information backbone to sustain growth. Post-implementation, our support systems will work in a seamless fashion," said Pranav Adani, executive director, Adani Wilmar.
 
Adani Wilmar is into manufacturing and marketing of branded edible oil products.
 
"We are committed to be their trusted advisors for all IT initiatives and will certainly bring a business centric approach to all their IT investments," said S G Raja Sekharan, vice president, sales, Caritor.
 
Caritor is engaged in software and products, addressing markets in North America, Europe, South Africa and Asia Pacific.
 
The company has recently set up a marketing presence in India to target medium and large enterprises in the country.
