PORSCHE 911 GT3
Got the cash? You’ll set the speed. This Porsche is powered by a 4-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine that churns out 493 bhp and develops 540 Nm of peak torque. It comes in two trims: a 7-speed PDK automatic and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automatic can hit 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 318 kmph. The manual takes 0.5 seconds more for the sprint but has a higher top speed of 320 kmph.
MARUTI SUZUKI ALL-NEW S-CROSS
Maruti Suzuki has done away with the DDis 320 1.6-litre diesel engine in the new S-Cross and only retained the DDiD 200 1.3-litre diesel version. The new model also comes with a smart hybrid technology.
This newly-launched SUV has a length of 4.70 m, a seven-seat configuration and the largest boot in its class. Offered in only one trim level, the car is powered by a 2.0L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel TDI engine that churns out 150 horses and belts out 340Nm of peak torque.
VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT
How to make a good thing better. The new luxury sedan is based on the MQB platform. Powering the car is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, TDI diesel mill that turns around 176bhp. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed automatic DSG transmission.
NEW HONDA CBR650F
This one comes with enhanced riding dynamics, aggressive styling and a wilder induction roar. The bike has a sleek, aerodynamic fairing and specially designed air ducts. Powering the motorcycle is a 649cc, DOHC inline, four-cylinder engine and a new 6-speed short ratio gearbox. It sports a new LED headlight, revised Nissin brake callipers, Showa Dual Bending Valve fork, and a bronzed engine and head covers.
This is basically the racetrack-oriented version of the S. The all-new 765cc engine makes 1121.3hp at 11,700rpm and while peak torque is identical to the R model at 77Nm, the peak point moves a full 1,400rpm higher to 10,800rpm. This engine, in fact, is the base for the new Moto2 series starting from the 2019 season.
AUDI A5 SPORTBACK, A5 CABRIOLET AND S5 SPORTBACK
The luxury of choice: In one go, Audi India has launched the A5 Sportback, the A5 Cabriolet and the S5 Sportback. The A5 Sportback and the A5 Cabriolet are powered by an inline 4-cylinder 1968cc diesel engine with VTG turbocharger. The S5 boasts a 2995cc TFSI quattro tiptronic V6 petrol engine.
