Cartridge World, one of the fastest growing specialty cartridge recharging retail chains in the world, is looking to expand its foot print in smaller cities of India.
"We are currently present in 37 cities of the country and are looking to expand our presence to 50 more cities, especially the smaller cities by the end of 2011-12. The printer consumables market in the country is estimated at Rs 5000 crore and we have five per cent market share”, Naveen Rakhecha, chief executive officer (South Asia), Cartridge World told media persons here.
The Australian cartridge recharging retail store on Thursday, opened its first retail chain in the city. The store, a one-stop shop for all printer related needs, will offer services that include recharging of inkjet cartridges and reloading Laser cartridges along with free customer education on cartridge care. The first of its kind store will also stock OEM inkjet and Laser cartridges, high quality specialty paper, fax supplies, OEM printers and other office supplies.
Commenting on the store launch, Mike Adams, President (Asia Pacific), Cartridge World said, “Cartridge World is expanding at enormous pace across the globe. We would strengthen our footprint by providing the necessary support with the help of intensive research activities carried on by us.”
Rakhecha said, “Recharging is a scientific process and involves micro manufacturing and engineering. At Cartridge World, we use cartridge specific OEMs like ink, toner, parts and recharging processes to ensure that out customer get OEM like output both in print quality as well as yield.”
