The airline will be initiating a discussion with the civil aviation authorities soon.
Cathay pacific currently flies four times a week from Delhi to Hong Kong and four time a week from Mumbai to Hong Kong via Bangkok.
The airline also operates four times a week to Dubai from Mumbai. While it operates a A330-300 on the Delhi route, it operates a Boeing 777-300 on the Mumbai route.
