Chennai-based FMCG company CavinKare Pvt Ltd planned to expand its food division business, including sale of milk, over the next one year, a top company official has said.
CavinKare proposed to sell two lakh liters of milk a day against the present quantum of 45,000 liters in Chennai, Tiruvanamalai and Cuddalore districts, its Chairman and Managing Director C K Ranganathan said yesterday.
He said the recently launched 'Food Straunt', a new concept of fusion of Indian and Western cuisine, in Puducherry had received good response and the company planned to set up such units in Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Coimbatore and Madurai.
CainKare's Madurai Malligai (Jasmine) shampoo was a success in the market and the company would soon come out with more regional oriented varieties of shampoos, he said.
