Chennai-based construction company Chennai Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited has posted 10.13 per cent growth in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009 to Rs 21.08 crore as against Rs 19.14 crore in the same period in the previous fiscal.
Income from operations dipped to Rs 451.26 crore as compared to Rs 467.09 crore in the same period last year.
The total expenditure of the company also dipped to Rs 181.01 crore as compared to Rs 218.39 crore in the year-ago period.
The order backlog amounts to Rs 3724 crore and the company acquired fresh orders in the second quarter worth Rs 692.96 crore from ONGC, Mangalore Refineries and Dhanalakshmi Bank, according to the press release of the company.
