Tulip Telecom today said its promoter firm Cedar Infonet has increased stake in the company to 33.16%.
Cedar Infonet bought 1,79,634 equity shares constituting 0.12% of the issued share capital of Tulip Telecom from the open market, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
"Consequent to the purchase of above shares, the holding of Cedar Infonet, has been increased to 33.16% comprising 480,88,834 equity shares of Rs 2 each," it said.
Shares of Tulip Telecom today closed Rs 141, up by 3.18% from its previous close on the BSE.
