Centrum Direct launches visa services

Retail forex business player Centrum Direct Ltd has launched 'Centrum Global Visa Services', offering visa application and procurement services to 180 countries.

CGVS will process visas and also act as a consolidator for visa services for the travel trade.

Around 15 million Indians visit abroad each year and India is a leading nation for online travel bookings.

Passengers and travel agents can avail of this facility through Centrum's network of 91 branches in 45 cities across the country, a company press release said.

CentrumDirect has also tied up with Spicejet to provide UAE visas to Spicejet passengers, who can apply for the visa on the Spicejet website through one of CentrumDirect's branches or through authorised travel agents, it said.

With a bouquet of travel products from visa applications to insurance and holiday packages, Centrum Direct aims to be a leading player in the travel industry.

Centrum Direct offers retail Foreign Exchange Services and has a turnover of around Rs 3,000 crore.
