Century Plyboards (I) Ltd, one of the leading plywood and veneer manufacturers of the country, aims to achieve more market share in Gujarat over the next two to three years.
The decorative veneer market in Gujarat is estimated at Rs. 22 crore and the company enjoys a market share of 25 per cent. The company intends to capture potential 50 per cent market share in next two to three years. The company sees Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat as major markets for decorative veneer in the state.
“In order to raise our market share in Gujarat, we have chalked out ambitious plans. Expanding our network will be one of the major steps while the marketing thrust will be to increase the awareness regarding the product and thus boost the sales. Market penetration to acquire the desired market share is our focus. In Gujarat the demand for decorative veneers is increasing at a faster pace”, said Abhra Banerjee, VP marketing, Centuryply.
The company recently unveiled ‘Senzura Styles’, a new range of decorative veneers in the presence of the who’s who of the architects and interior designers of the city .
