CG to supply power transformers and switchgear to Ukraine

Avantha Group Company CG, has received an order worth euro 2 million (about Rs 17 crore) to provide two power transformers and oneGas Insulated Switchgear to Ukrainian electricity utility Odessa Oblenergo for its Marazlievskaya substation.

"The order is valued at Euro 2 million and installation and commissioning of the equipment is expected to be completed by end-2014. CG will undertake the supervision of erection and commissioning of the transformers and switchgear," the company said in a statement.

Odessa Oblenergo supplies electricity to the city of Odessa in Ukraine and other surrounding areas.

"We look forward to strengthening our relationship with Odessa Oblenergo and establishing ourselves as a partner of choice to supply high-quality, durable power equipment," CG's CEO and Managing Director, Laurent Demortier said.
