Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals today reported a net profit of Rs 55.31 crore for the quarter ended June, a jump of two fold over that in the same period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 23.79 crore for the same period ended June 2008, Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals said in a filing to the BSE.
Income from operations declined to Rs 769.86 crore in the quarter ended June, against Rs 805.26 crore in the same quarter last year.
The board of directors has appointed K N Memani as director of the company with immediate effect, to fill the casual vacancy caused by resignation of M D Locke.
