Basically the survey was done to understand the effects of economic slowdown, increasing prices, rupee depreciation on the home shopping market in India.
The survey was conducted in Star CJ's markets across Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Ludhiana, Surat, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Amritsar, Faridabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Jaipur, Chennai, Nagpur and Nashik. The survey gives an overview of the popularity of home shopping among Indians and their spending patterns basis the current economic conditions of the country.
