Sony India is set to see a change of guard, with Keichi Sakamoto set to take over as managing director from April 1. The current managing director Teruo Ishii will be moving to the international marketing department at Tokyo, the Sony headquarters.

The change at the helm of affairs comes at a time when the Japanese major is planning an aggressive retail push in India to up market share and double turnover to about Rs 1,500 crore by the year 2005-06.
