A team of Chinese automobile company First Automobile Works (FAW) which wants to set up a small car factory in West Bengal today visited some places in Haldia and in East Midnapore district.
The FAW officials also held a meeting with local MP and Chairman of Haldia Development Authority (HDA) Lakshman Seth, official sources said.
The FAW officials visited some places in Haldia and its surrounding area in search of suitable land to set up the small car plant, sources added.
