As part of its strategy to aggressively tap apparel retailing sector, Chiripal Lifestyle Ltd (CLL) has decided to launch 100 plus exclusive outlets of Connexions, lifestyle apparel brand of Ahmedabad-based Chiripal Group, in many states of the country.

CLL already has 27 exclusive outlets of Connexions and it plans to operationalise over 100 such outlets by the end of 2010. Of these, 50 outlets will be in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and rest will be spread across Punjab, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh.

"We see a huge potential for growth in the casual apparel segment due to its fashion quotient and our inherent strength as an integrated textile group. These new openings will further strengthen our commitment to move closer to the customers," Vishal Chiripal, CEO, Chiripal Lifestyle Ltd said in a statement.

Post expansion of its retail network, the company estimates that the retailing business would add around Rs 50 crore annually to its turnover.

CLL has recently appointed a master franchisee in Rajasthan and opened its exclusive outlets in Jaipur at Mansarovar and Alwar. The company opened its second outlet at Crystal Court Mall in Jaipur on 20th June 2010. Built on an area spanning 700 sq feet, the outlet has been designed to cater to young generation who can experience trendy shopping ambience in ConneXions showroom.

"The premium brand will also be available in exclusive outlets slated to open at MI road, Tonk road and Sanganer road areas in Jaipur by mid July," the company added. The company is also targetting all cities of Rajasthan to fulfill its long cherished dream of setting its footprint in the neighbouring state.

According to Chiripal, the objective of ConneXions is to gain market share by providing fashion and quality at a value price and make people experience lifestyle in affordable budget.
