GMP per se' covers all aspects of production: starting from the materials, premises and equipment to the training and personal hygiene of staff. |

Detailed, written procedures are essential for each process that could affect the quality of the finished product. Every time a product is made, systems need to be on place to provide documented proof that correct procedures are consistently followed at each step in the manufacturing process. |
For the first time in many years the international pharmaceutical industry is finding great opportunities in India with the government stressing on the implementation of GMP by the year 2005. |
The industry associations feel that there is an urgent need for change in mindset' in order to modernise', harmonise and revamp the pharmaceutical sectors' legislations and evolve transparent, fair and pragmatic enforcement practices without compromising on the safety standards and public health. |
The conference would address the critical issues of GMP with relevance to Indian pharmaceutical Industry and provide a platform for one to one interaction with both domestic and international players. |
