Citigroup has invested Rs 250 crore in Hyderabad-based Ind Barath Power through its private equity funds. According to a release issued by Ind Barath, the funds from Citigroup Venture Capital international Growth Funds will be used for expansion.Ind Barath has five power plants with a total capacity of 144 MW while five plants are under various stages of execution. Motilal Oswal Advisors was the financial advisor for Ind Barath.
