V Srikanth, head of markets for South Asia at Citgroup Inc, will join Reliance Industries (RIL) as deputy chief financial officer.
Sources said Srikanth, who is also the country treasurer for Citi India, will be joining RIL shortly. However, a RIL spokesperson declined to comment.
Srikanth currently is the head of markets for Citi South Asia covering fixed income, currencies, commodities and equities. He is also a director in Citi group company CCML (Citicorp Capital Market) which is into underwriting and trading for the rupee fixed income business.
Srikanth holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce from the Bombay University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate member of the Institute of Costs and Work Accountants of India.
