Colgate Palmolive has posted a 5% rise in its net profit at Rs 113.29 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 108 crore in FY04. Total income has increased from Rs 969.11 crore in FY-04 to Rs 998.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.Colgate has reported a consolidated net profit after tax of Rs 112.43 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 112.39 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total revenue has increased from Rs 972.96 crore in FY-04 to Rs 999.39 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.The company has reported a 12% decline in net profit at Rs 32.34 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 36.68 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Total revenue has increased from Rs 236.84 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 252.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.
