Colgate-Palmolive, Guj NRE, P&G Hygiene & BGR Energy Q2 result

Colgate-Palmolive India net rises 41%
Colgate-Palmolive (India) posted a standalone net profit of Rs 89.7 crore compared with Rs 63.5 crore in the same period last year — a rise of around 41 per cent for its third quarter ended September 30. Revenue grew by 16.8 per cent to Rs 502.8 crore from Rs 430 crore for the same period.

Guj NRE Coke net at Rs 20 crore
Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd posted a net profit after tax of Rs 20.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, down by 80 per cent from the Rs 102.7 crore reported in the same quarter previous year. Total income decreased 22.55 per cent to Rs 386.2 crore from Rs 498.7 crore in the previous year.

P&G Hygiene net up 5 per cent
Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care posted a net profit of Rs 51.48 crore for the quarter ended September 30, an increase of around 5 per cent over the Rs 49.16 crore figure posted in the corresponding period in the last financial year. Net sales too increased by around 20 per cent to touch Rs 225.46 crore compared with the Rs 188.32 crore posted in the same period last financial year.

BGR Energy Systems net up 29%
BGR Energy Systems has reported a net profit after tax of Rs 30.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, against Rs 23.68 crore in the same period last year— an increase of 29 per cent. Total income rose to Rs 465.96 crore from Rs 425.74 crore, an increase of around 9 per cent.
