For the first time in the Indian animation history a studio based in India has been entrusted with such a job which establishes Color Chip's credibility as a major player at the higher end of value chain in the animation industry, a company release claimed.
The contract has been signed with a Animagicnet AS, which is a Norway-based 3D animation studio. As per the terms of the agreement signed between the two companies, the company shall be providing lighting, rendering and compositing services as well as special effects and animation for the film titled Free Jimmy.
The value of the deal is up to $1 million and the project is poised to be completed in the first quarter of 2004.
