Core Projects bags order worth Rs 120 cr from Maha govt

Education solution provider Core Projects today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 120 crore from Government of Maharashtra to set-up proper educational infrastructure to 947 schools across three districts of Mumbai, Pune and Kolapur.

The company under Government's 'ICT@ School' phase 2 program would set-up computer infrastructure, deploy and run school management software, and teacher's training, the Core Projects said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The program would cover 947 schools across the three districts and the contract is for a period of five-years commencing from May 1, the filing added.

Shares of Core Projects were trading at Rs 247.20 on BSE, down 2.50 per cent from previous close.
