Hindalco Industries: DSP Merrill Lynch has informed on behalf of the company that, pursuant to the public announcement for open offer made by the company to shareholders of Indian Aluminium, the company has acquired 750 (0.001 per cent) equity shares of Indian Aluminium on 21.08.02. The maximum price paid for shares acquired through open market purchases was Rs 118 per share. Hindalco also acquired 7238 (0.01 per cent) equity shares of the company on 22.08.02. The maximum price paid for shares acquired through open market purchases was Rs 118 per share.
