Cottons by Century, the retail brand of Century Textiles, is hoping to generate 80 per cent of its revenue this year from east and south.

Subrata Siddhanta, business head of Cottons by Century, said "At present 20 per cent of our revenue comes from the south, while the east is almost insignificant. This year we will expand heavily in the east."

At present, about 50 per cent of the company's revenues are from the west, and 30 per cent from the north.

The store count is slated to go up from 46 to 70 over the course of the year. Siddhanta said the company was aiming at doubling the turnover this year from Rs 24 crore to over Rs 50 crore this year.

In addition to the retail expansion, he said that same store growth was expected at about 20 per cent.
