According to Y Rajeev Reddy, chairman and managing director, Country Club India Limited, Bush Betta Resorts is spread over 20 acres and presently has 60 cottages with spacious 3-4 rooms in each cottage. It will be rechristened The Country Club Bush Betta Resort. |

Country Vacations, an arm of the Country Club India Limited, will add another 100 rooms to the Bush Betta Resorts over the next two years, he added. |

The company has invested about Rs 20 crore in acquiring and renovating the property and through Country Vacations will be marketing the property globally as a major tourist attraction. |

Reddy said Country Vacations will not just represent wildlife and the spirit of adventure but will be a global enterprise. To propel its growth in this booming industry, Country Club India Limited plans to invest Rs100 crore in the next two years entirely in the area of wildlife and adventure tourism. |

"Immediate plans of the company are to include six more properties in Ooty, Goa, Khandala, Kodaikanal, Shimla and Kerala," he said. |

Quoting industry reports, Reddy said the number of tourists visiting India is expected to grow multifold from the present 3.7 million. And Country Club India Limited currently touches the lives of over a million members, who will be the initial target for Country Club Bush Betta. |

Privatisation of wildlife is the key to putting India on the global tourism map, said Reddy and added that if Mysore could have an airport it will help tourist visits. |

Country Club India Limited is the flagship company of the Amrutha Group, which built the first club in Hyderabad in 1989, and has an asset base of Rs 500 crore. |
