Creditsafe Group, a Norway-based provider of on-line company credit reports, announced a 'significant new investment' in Hyderabad with the launch of a new IT development and testing company- Skua Services.

Skua has been established to act as a main testing resource for Creditsafe as it continues to expand its operations globally, the company said.

Founded in 1997, Creditsafe supplied more than 100 million individual company credit reports to its 90,000 subscription customers around the world in 2015. These reports allow customers to make better business decisions and help reduce the element of risk inherent in all commercial transactions.

Creditsafe is the majority shareholder in Skua, which it has set up in association with local IT specialist and former Creditsafe manager Kishore Kancherla.

Angus Gow, Creditsafe's chief technology and content officer said, "After much investigation we decided to establish Skua in conjunction with Kishore in order to take advantage of the excellent skills on offer in Hyderabad."
