Credit ratings and research services firm Crisil today reported a growth of 17.29% in its net profit at Rs 45.72 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) ended December 31, 2010.
It had a net profit of Rs 38.98 crore in the Q4 of the last fiscal, Crisil said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
It also reported an increase of 24.67% in its total Q4 income at Rs 148.35 crore as against Rs 118.99 crore in the year-ago period.
For the 2010 fiscal year, the ratings agency reported a net profit of Rs 195.75 crore, up 30.20% over the figure of Rs 150.34 crore reported in 2009.
Crisil's total income in 2010 went up 19.84% to Rs 531.28 crore from Rs 443.33 crore in the previous fiscal.
