Last year CSB had registered a net profit of Rs 19.07 crore. The bank has recommended 30 per cent dividend for its shareholders against 15 per cent last year, a release said.
CSB has brought down its net NPA to 1.61 per cent compared to 2 per cent last year and the capital to risk assets ratio has gone up to 10.87 per cent, against the RBI's stipulation of 9 per cent, the release added.
CSB had mobilised a deposit of Rs 5,317.62 crore for the reported year compared to Rs 4748.60 crore last year. Its advances have gone up to Rs 3,313.56 crore from the previous year's Rs 3,012.64 crore, the release stated.
CSB has opened 17 new branches during the year under review, making the bank's total number of branch network to 361, the release added.
