Cyient appoints new global HR head

P N S V Narasimham will become the senior vice-president and global head of human resources

Cyient on Wednesday appointed P N S V Narasimham as the senior vice-president and global head of human resources.

He will be based in Cyient's headquarters in Hyderabad, he will be responsible for leading HR transformation for Cyient globally, including all functions within business fulfilment, engagement, and HR shares services, the company said.

Narasimham is coming off a sabbatical, where he undertook a doctoral programme at the University of Bristol in the UK.

Prior to that he was the executive vice-president and chief people officer at Microland, global head of leadership initiatives at Cognizant, and chief operating officer at UBS India Service Center.

Earlier in his career, he worked for Arvind Mills, Hewlett-Packard, and Motorola, according to a statement.
