Maharashtra government today said the Dabhol power plant was generating 300 MW power and that production would touch 630 MW by May 15. "The power is transferred to the powergrid and it will reduce the shortage," R R Patil, deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, said here during a visit to the project site. Patil, accompanied by Maharashtra power minister Dilip Walse Patil today reviewed power production at the Dabhol plant which is also known as Ratnagiri Gas Power (RGPPL).Dabhol plant resumed power generation with 30-60 MW on May 1 after remaining shut for five years.
