Dalda to add flavour to Diwali cuisine

Dalda is set to start sales promotion in 30 major towns of northern India.
 
A company executive said during this festival season, through "Dalda Festive Magic", Bunge India Private Ltd would reach out to consumers as part of the marketing strategy by participating in various local fairs where contests would be organised and special discounts offered. He said the company had tied up with over 60 prominent restaurants across 30 towns which would use Dalda oils to prepare their dishes.
 
He said the product suited the country's cultural diversity and significance of Indian festivals. He said many varieties of the brand were available like refined soyabean oil, groundnut oil, and kachhi ghani mustard oil.
 
Promoter Bunge India Private Ltd is a subsidiary of US-based Bunge Ltd, and is a leading player in the Indian edible oil market with brands like Dalda, Chambal, and Materline.
 
Headquartered in Mumbai, the company has a research centre at Bangalore and manufacturing plants in Trichi, Pithampur, and Bundi.
