Mumbai-based real estate developer DB Realty will raise Rs 1,500 crore through an initial public offer and has filed the draft prospectus with market regulator Sebi for the same.
DB Realty is into developing residential and commercial projects, including parks and villas.
Sources said the company intends to offload 10 per cent of its equity and has filed the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP), joining the club of players in the sector who collectively are looking at raising over Rs 11,000 crore from the capital market.
The issue would also comprise a green shoe option of up to 10 per cent.
On Tuesday, realty players like Sahara Prime City, Emaar MGF and Lodha filed DRHPs to raise over Rs 11,000 crore.
