Hinduja group company, Defiance Technologies, on Thursdsay opened a social media command centre in Chennai for Japanese automobile major Nissan.
“As part of our global strategy, we are using localised real-time monitoring in all the regions to proactively listen and engage. This centre will enable us to monitor, analyse data and engage with the customers in real-time. Online engagement has become the strategic tool to get closer to our customers in this space,” Nissan’s executive vice-president Andy Palmer said after inaugurating the centre.
The 30-member team at the centre will also bring out reports on Nissan products. This will not only improve the brand but will also give more leads to the company and will help the company to offer better service to the customers, he said, adding that the service was initially launched in Japanese and English, and will be rolled out in another 30-50 languages going forward.
“The company has the capabilities to do a complete design, build and operate a dedicated social media command centre for our customers,” said Subu D Subramanian, managing director and chief executive officer of Defiance Technologies.
Within 30 seconds, the system can pick up information from Twitter and other social networking sites anything and everything discussed about Nissan and its competitors’ products. The system will analysis competition, consumer, event, campaign and buying patterns of the people on social networks.
