Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) , which is operating, developing and managing the Indira Gandhi International airport at Delhi, has awarded development rights of six asset areas in the hospitality district of the airport to build a mix of five-star, four-star and three-star hotels.

Accor, InterGlobe hotels, Lemon Tree, Bird Group and Hyatt (saraf hotels) are the successful bidders as they offered the best commercial valuation levels of the six asset areas to DIAL, said the DIAL press release to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

These developers would also be offering services facilities like convention centres, restaurants and commercial plazas within hotel premises to meet the requirements of passengers and airlines.

DIAL had received 60 bids for the hospitality project.
