Delhi Daredevils, owned by infrastructure developer GMR Group, was the most active bidder on Day 2 of the auction at DLF IPL spending $8.11 million at the end of the first half. Dan Christian, bought by Deccan Chargers, remained the costliest buy today so far with $900,000 but way below the $2.4 million of Gautam Gambhir on the First Day. A total of 106 players has been sold so far.
The auction, more muted than the first day, saw Chennai Super Kings being the second highest spender of the day so far at $8.445 million.
