Deutsche Bank launches an account for women

Women account holders to get special discounts on lockers, demat account, investment fees

Deutsche Bank India has announced the launch of ‘Eve account’, specifically for women in India. The women account holders will get special discounts on lockers, demat account and investment fees. They will also get better interest rates on home and personal loans. Free debit cards and payable at par cheque books are a few added benefits they will get with this account.
 
 Japjit Singh Bedi, Director, Head of Deposits & Wealth Management, Deutsche Bank said, "Women opening the “Eve Account” will also have the  advantage of clubbing individual accounts and maintaining them as a group account. The group account will help her club accounts of up to two children (minors) with hers."

Children above the age of 12 years also have the freedom to transact online as well as get their own debit card, if they a re a part of this account. The account are of two types. Eve Advantage Account and Eve Value Plus. In both accounts, the family members will get the flexibility to operate each account independently.
