Diamond jewellery sales grow 37% in Hyd

Diamond jewellery sales in Hyderabad grew by 37 per cent in 2005, which is the highest in the country, according to Paresh Das, sales and marketing manager of DTC.

In fact, diamond jewellery sales have doubled in the last three years in Hyderabad, Das said at the Diamond Season Award Night held in Hyderabad recently.

The Diamond Season was held from October 20, 2005, to January 15, 2006, across India, a media statement said.

In Hyderabad, 23 jewellery stores participated and the awards were bagged by Kirtilal Jewellers for 'Best Shoppers Experience', Surajbhan Jewellery for 'Best Window Display' and TBZ, Meena, Neelkant and P Satyanarayana Jewellers for 'Best Showroom'.
