"At present, Dish TV is adding 15,000-20,000 subscribers every month. We expect to add around 30,000 - 35,000 subscribers per month in the wake of free set top boxes being provided by the company. Anindiya Sengupta, deputy vice-president, sales (east) of Dish TV said.
Said he, "On an all India-basis, we are targeting to augment our subscriber base by one lakh every month".
Eastern India is a strong market for us and we are especially focussing on small and medium towns where the penetration of cable network is not high, he added.
Nationwide, Dish TV has around 32 lakh subscribers and an estimated 15 per cent of its subscribers are in eastern India.
Dish TV is also looking to double its dealership network in eastern India from the existing 5,000 dealers to over 10,000 dealers by December this year.

"In Orissa, we intend to raise our dealership strength from about 1,000 dealers to 2,500 dealers by December this year," Sengupta claimed.
