Net sales or income from operations rose 28.99 per cent at Rs 687.41 crore, from Rs 534.36 crore for the same period last year. Other income came down at Rs 7.81 crore, as against Rs 22.32 crore last year.
Total expenses were up 14 per cent at Rs 424.75 as against Rs 372.41 crore. Tax expense was higher at Rs 53.06 crore (Rs 39.59 crore last year).
Divi's posted a foreign exchange loss of Rs 5.34 crore during the quarter, as against a forex gain of Rs 15.65 crore in the last year period.
