The stock zoomed 10% to Its upper circuit limit of Rs 263 and ended there with buy orders of 260 shares still pending. Around 29,391 shares were traded on the BSE today.

Dolphin Offshore opened at Rs 250, touched a low of Rs 240 and then zoomed to a high of Rs 262, up nearly 10% from previous close. The stock is currently trading at Rs 254, up 6.5%. The counter witnessed trades of 16,690 shares on the BSE so far.
Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India, an integrated services provider to the offshore oil and gas sector, has been awarded a contract for charter hire of DP/DSV Vessel by Leighton India.
The value of the said contract is $18.45 million (approx. Rs 87 crore) for a period of 6 months with an option for Leighton to extend it for another 60 days. If extended, the total value of the contract will be $24.6 million (approximately Rs 116 crore). This contract will commence end September - early October 2009.
